Antagonism 2.

Antagonism 2. | Interaction between two muscles, known as an antagonist pair (or antagonistic muscles), whereby the contraction of one muscle prevents the contraction of the other. For example, the biceps and triceps are an antagonist pair, contraction of the biceps prevents contraction of the triceps, and vice verse.
